Looking for help with the LSAT? I scored 175 on the official exam, have hundreds of hours of tutoring experience, and am a trained teacher.
My rate is $40 CAD/hour and offer an initial two-hour lesson for free.
My Approach
1. Absolute Fundamentals
- The LSAT is a test of how you read and think, not a test of gimmicks or tricks
- So, a large part of my focus is teaching you to process, summarize, and simplify the problems effectively2. Flexible and Individualized Methods:
- I will work with you to find which methods and 'tools' harmonize best with your thinking style so you are not boxed in to any one protocol3. Beyond Thinking:
- Strong emphasis on attitude, emotions, physical well-being
- Concrete strategies for dealing with anxiety
- How to develop a positive perception of this testA Typical Lesson:
- Lessons usually comprise a mix of reviewing any difficult problems you've encountered and going through new problems together. If you are new to the exam we can also cover the core concepts of logic
- For the most part I will ask you questions as we go through the problems, providing hints and 'scaffolding' along the way to assist you
- I also provide demonstrations of how a top-scorer approaches texts, questions, and answer choices, so the process is de-mystified
- Finally, I provide general advice about the exam, study plans, and revision habits
